The Norwegian commercial aquaculture industry turned 50 in 2020, but due to the global Covid19 crisis, the marking was canceled then. On 28 May 2021, Seafood Norway, Hitra Municipality, the Coastal Museum in Sør-Trøndelag and the Norwegian Ministry of Trade and Fisheries are arranging a celebration of the industry that has been so important for business development in Norway during these fifty years.
