Meet BRIDGES in Lyon, France at Eurexpo hall 6 under the Village of Industry & Transportation of the Future

The BRIDGES consortium will be participating in the Forum on Vocational Excellence 2024 in Lyon, France. We will participate in the Forums workshops and visits, as well as stand at our own stand where we will present some project-relevant activities and results, such as:

It's a wrap! The project consortium will gather at Frøya to have an end-of-project wrap up

Project Recap: Present a summary of the project’s journey, key milestones, major achievements, and overall impact.
Milestones and highlights: Highlight the project’s major wins, and contributions of team members.
Lessons Learned Discussion: Discussion on what went well, what didn’t, and what could be improved.
Feedback Session: Collect feedback from the team on the project processes, communication, and tools used.
Next Steps and Future Outlook: Discuss what’s coming next, whether it’s new projects, handovers and which activities will continue operations as a result of the project, forwarding of EU guidelines for final reporting and wrap-ups.
Food, Drinks, and Socializing: End with a relaxed time where everyone can enjoy food and drinks.

NTNU students get the aquaculture industry up close when we invite them to a student day at Hitra and Frøya. The group visits breeding facilities and a slaughterhouse, and meets students at Guri Kunna secondary and VET school. A day of excursions, dialogue, discussion and socializing, before we meet for a conference at the Frøya culture and competence centre. The participants for the student day have been selected by supervisors at NTNU.

Join us for the final Nordic ASFF event during the Aquaculture Week 2024 at Frøya. This closing event for the BRIDGES project will focus on critical topics such as fish welfare, welfare indicators, and fish diseases—issues that have been highly relevant in Norway’s aquaculture industry over the past year.

We invite industry professionals and all schools in Norway with an Aquaculture VET program to participate. This event offers a valuable opportunity for knowledge-sharing and networking with key players in the field. Don’t miss out—save the date and join us!

The event will run from 09:00 to 14:00, including a complimentary lunch, at Sistranda, which is the same location as the Brohode conference happening the following day.

Part of Aquaculture Week 2024

Blue Innovation Camp is one of Trøndelag's most popular events for tenth graders all over the county! Young budding entrepreneurs receive concrete and topical issues from three of the island region's aquaculture companies. During the camp, students will work in groups and come up with proposals for sustainable and innovative solutions to this year's issues. The groups then pitch their proposed solution to the juries, which consist of representatives from this year's problem-setters.

WP 10 initiative: Nordic Trout and Livia collge join forces on a sustainability webinar for stakeholders

We will share how we are working with the sustainability in Nordic Trout but also we have speakers concerning the fish industry environment aspect and what kind of role the water quality has for the food industry in general. Livia college have engaged youngsters to listen this webinar. The idea is to share information and hopefully they would be motivated to study the field when they notice how great field this is, as well as think about sustainability in everything they do.
